Thermax® Precision irreversible temperature indicators are a simple, cost-effective temperature monitoring program based on proprietary color change technologies.

Irreversible temperature indicators provide a permanent record that an item has reached or exceeded its rated temperature. They can be used in applications where specific temperature bands are required.

The temperature labels work through a non-toxic chemical reaction and subsequent colour change (from clear to black), once the particular activation point is reached.  

The colour change is non-reversible, so that the strips indicate the highest temperature attained.  

The labels can be attached to almost any surface as they have a strong adhesive backing that is oil, water and steam resistant.
