Portable Hardness Tester : HTR-1000i
• Handheld hardness tester
• Integrated impact device for single hand use
• Rockwell, Brinell, Vickers
• Internal Memory
HTR-1000i integrated indenter portable hardness tester is suitable for tough working environments such as workshops.
By changing the test direction settings, testing can be carried out at any angle (including upside down.) This versatile tester can be used on a range of metals including steel, cast steel, stainless steel, iron, aluminium, brass and copper.
The HTR-1000i uses the LEEB rebound method to measure in HLD, which can be converted to results in other scales such as Rockwell and Vickers and displayed directly on screen. The rebound method works by spring loading a tungsten carbide indenter, firing it against a surface and measuring the rebound energy. The higher the rebound, the harder the surface.
