The Surfix® E Coating thickness gauge from Phynix is manufactured in Germany and features a fixed probe on a fly-lead for better access to tight working spaces.
The probe has a highly wear resistant carbide pole tip and the plastic foot is equipped with a v-groove to ensure upright position when on cylindrical and curved surfaces. A optional high temperature foot is available to allow for measurements on surfaces up to 300°C.
Available as Standard with data memory (200 values) which can be transferred to a PC or printer via infrared or a cable.
Other features include statistics, limit values, automatic material selection and three different calibration modes; or Basic without memory, statistics, limit vlaues & IR-interface.
Coating thickness gauges are used to measure the thickness of dry film coatings such as with electroplating, paint, powder coating, etc for quality control purposes.
